In standard daily-use vehicles, gearbox mounts serve the primary purpose of securing the drivetrain to the chassis while minimizing vibrations and noise transmitted to the rest of the vehicle.
In comparison, Hardrace reinforced gearbox mounts, constructed with polyurethane, provide greater rigidity compared to OEM rubber mounts. This enhanced durability allows for immediate and more pronounced performance feedback during acceleration.
Note! The use of these gearbox bearings causes greater body vibration.
