PRO KIT CNC71 front suspension set dedicated to BMW 1 Series E8x and BMW 3 Series E9x

  

The set guarantees an increase in steering angle up to 68 degrees, changes the Ackermann steering geometry and allows for quick adjustment without the need to dismantle the elements.

Perfectly fits into the original suspension mountings located in the car's chassis. Complies with drifting series regulations.

Made of high-quality steel and aluminium using precise CNC machines. The kit includes lower wishbones, tie rod spacers, steering knuckles with all necessary hardware and installation instructions.

The individual elements of the set are protected by powder coating or galvanizing. The use of spherical bearings eliminated the need for rubber bushings, providing a more direct and reactive feeling on the track.

If necessary, all spare parts are immediately available from the manufacturer's warehouse.

For those who want to adjust the alignment of their vehicle, the kit has specific parameters and a toe setting that adjusts depending on Ackermann angle measurements: 

  • Camber angle: -5.5 degrees
  • Caster angle: 6.5 degrees

The set offers 68 degrees of rotation, with the option of quick Ackerman adjustment from positive to negative by using special washers. This allows you to quickly modify the driving characteristics of the vehicle to adapt it to the prevailing conditions and driver preferences. The set also has an easy-to-set twist reduction using an acentric sleeve.

In addition, the kit raises the roll centre, which reduces the vehicle's tendency to tilt in corners. The product allows you to set the wheels in a way that minimizes the car's deviation from the track at a wide range of steering angles, this fact is crucial for maintaining the grip of the front wheels and the predictability of the car's driving during drift manoeuvres.

The set is plug and play, the attached manual contains all the necessary data to set the car in the initial position. The kit provides the necessary space for installing the coilover suspension that is required.

NOTE:

The range of wheels cooperating with the set is between 17" and 19" (inches) provided that the internal diameter of the rim cannot be less than 400mm.
