CNC71 Lock adapters BMW E36 - STOCK ARMS - STEEL

   

A set of steel BMW E36 adapters with a set of mounting bolts for the factory control arms.

Adapters are milled on CNC machines, which gives a high quality finish and 100% matching of the adapter to the steering knuckle and pin ends. 

The adapters are protected with a zinc coating. 

 

During assembly, the steering rod and tie rod end should be shortened by 1 centimetre, bodywork remains intact.

Depending on knuckle wear and differences in castings there is a possibility that you may need to shorten the bolt securing the adapter to the knuckle. It's for making sure that it won't come into contact with the shock mounting bracket.

CNC71 fits its adapters to Meyle ball joints cone spec. CNC71 has noticed that different manufacturers can have different machining tolerances. Due to this fact, it may happen that the ball joint mounting thread will protrude from the adapter and you may not be able to bolt it down securely. If that's the case, use a washer to space the nut and you'll be good to go.

The minimum inside diameter of the rim to fit the adapter is 370mm.

Adapters extend the spacing by 2 cm per side. To obtain approximately 55 degrees of lock.
