Custom aluminium flywheel designed to mate the Toyota JZ 1JZ 2JZ engine to the BMW ZF manual gearbox

 

-BMW ZF/Getrag gearboxes have been successfully used in both amateur and professional motorsports for many years. They can handle very high torque (some models exceeding 1000Nm) while ensuring great reliability. They are perfect for swaps in high-power projects intended for daily use.

-Opting for the latest generation automatic gearboxes such as ZF 8HP or Getrag DCT DKG provide ultra-fast gear shift times (0.2 seconds), enhancing both speed and convenience. 

-PMC Motorsport adapters are used in both daily driver vehicles and professional projects intended for competitive motorsport.

-Every component for which PMC Motorsport produces parts is measured using coordinate measuring machines and 3D scanners. Prototypes undergo numerous tests to eliminate any possible issues in their usage. Certified materials from trusted suppliers in production.

-After each production stage, the component undergoes inspection. Quality is confirmed by the ISO PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 certificate.

Manual

-You should use the flywheel / ring gear from the automatic version of the Toyota 1JZ 2JZ, along with one spacer (OE 32116-22020 4.5mm) between the engine block and the ring gear (not included in the kit).

-The starter remains OE Toyota 1JZ 2JZ

-Remove the bearing from the crankshaft hub (automatic version JZ) and replace it with a centring sleeve from the kit.
