Adamat Performance offers a Kevlar single-disc clutch kit for Toyota 1JZ and 2JZ GE/GTE engines for BMW gearboxes using an adapter.

The kit is designed up to 650Nm 780Nm 850Nm 900Nm of torque. 

  

The complete STAGE 1 kit includes:

6.5kg hybrid flywheel, CNC-machined from a special aerospace aluminium alloy with a cast-iron friction surface, supplied as a single-mass flywheel with an integrated starter ring gear.

Two versions are available:

• with the pilot bearing mounted in the flywheel, or

• with a centring dowel to accept the pilot bearing in the gearbox input shaft.

Advantages of the hybrid flywheel

The hybrid flywheel combines low mass with very high strength, thanks to the use of a special aerospace aluminium alloy that is twice as strong as Duralumin 2017A (PA6). Its strength is comparable to structural steel S355 or spheroidal graphite iron used in crankshafts. Paired with a cast-iron friction surface, the flywheel ensures excellent heat dissipation, maximum wear resistance, and eliminates issues found with steel flywheels such as localised hardening caused by overheating.

ADAMAT PERFORMANCE also manufacture lightweight hybrid flywheels for dual-disc clutch systems.

5-speed gearboxes from BMW E30/E36/E34/E39/E38/E46 (engines M50/M52/M54/S50/S52) – disc spline 23x29-10N (S5D 320Z, S5D 310Z, S5D 260Z)

6-speed gearbox from BMW E46 M3 (S54 engine) – disc spline 28x35-10N (S6S 420G) 

5-speed gearbox from BMW E46/E39 (M57 engine) – disc spline 28x35-10N (GS5-39DZ)

6-speed gearbox from BMW E60/E61 (M57N, M57N2 engines) – disc spline 32.5x35-26N (GS6-53DZ) with damped clutch disc

Stage 2 100% Kevlar MAKLAND pads + LUK N54 SAC Pressure plate up to 780Nm
Stage 3 Sintering clutch disc + LUK N54 SAC pressure plate up to 850Nm
Stage 4 Sintering pads + SACHS Racing pressure plate up to 900Nm

 

Clutch is dynamically balanced on a CIMAT balancing machine.
