A twin-plate clutch kit + adapter, designed to mate 1JZ and 2JZ GE/GTE engines to BMW gearboxes, as per the compatibility chart below.

  • Clutch kit up to 1040Nm, 1150Nm, 1300Nm, 1570Nm, 1700Nm of torque
  • Light 7.2kg high grade aircraft aluminium alloy AlZuMg+Ti flywheel
  • Stage 1 to 5 clutch

STAGE 1 KIT

Designed for engines producing up to 1040Nm of torque.

The kit includes:

  • 17mm adapter made from highly durable AW7075 fortal alloy – twice as strong as commonly used AW2017A duralumin or structural steel. Double-centred, using the original dowels in the engine and the locating holes in the gearbox. Fully CNC machined on a DMG milling machine. Adapter positioning accuracy on the engine: 0.03mm.
  • Mounting bolts for securing the adapter to the engine and the gearbox to the adapter.
  • Lightweight flywheel made from a special aerospace-grade AlMgZn+Ti alloy, monolithic with an integrated starter ring gear. The alloy exceeds the strength of carbon steels such as C45 or 40HM typically used in mechanical parts.
  • Two 240mm performance clutch discs with rigid hubs, lined with Kevlar (LUK 8090S).
  • Intermediate plate made from a special alloy structural steel, resistant to wear and high temperatures.
  • SACHS pressure plate.
  • Spring-type vibration dampers.
  • Flywheel bolts, class 12.9.
  • Clutch release bearing.
  • Alignment tool for centring the clutch discs.
